ইসলামে ঈদে মীলাদুন্নবী পালনের বিধানের উপর কিছু বক্তব্য

আজকের বিশ্বে মুসলিম উম্মার অন্যতম উৎসবের দিন হচ্ছে ''ঈদে মীলাদুন্নবী''। সারা বিশ্বের বহু মুসলিম অত্যন্ত জাঁকজমক, ভক্তি ও মর্যাদার সাথে আরবী বৎসরের ৩য় মাস রবিউল আউআল মাসের ১২ তারিখে এই ''ঈদে মীলাদুন্নবী'' বা নবীর জন্মের ঈদ পালন করেন। কিন্তু অধিকাংশ মুসলিমই  এই ''ঈদের'' উৎপত্তি ও বিকাশের ইতিহাসের সাথে পরিচিত নন। যে সকল ব্যক্তিত্ব এই উৎসব মুসলিম উম্মার মধ্যে প্রচলন করেছিলেন তাঁদের পরিচয়ও আমাদের অধিকাংশের অজানা রয়েছে। আমরা জানি যে, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লামের জন্মদিন পালন বা রবিউল আউয়াল মাসে ''ঈদে মীলাদুন্নবী'' পালনের বৈধতা ও অবৈধতা নিয়ে আলেম সমাজে অনেক মতবিরোধ হয়েছে, তবে মীলাদুন্নবী উদযাপনের পক্ষের ও বিপক্ষের সকল আলেম ও গবেষক একমত যে, ইসলামের প্রথম শতাব্দিগুলিতে ''ঈদে মীলাদুন্নবী'' বা রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লামের জন্মদিন পালন করা বা উদযাপন করার কোন প্রচলন ছিল না।

A Simple Yet Effective Solution  To Our Current Problems By Hadrat Mawlānā Muhammad Saleem Dhorat hafizahullāh In the period before the advent of our beloved Messenger sallallāhu 'alayhi wasallam, the whole world was engulfed in the darkness of ignorance. Humans were uncivilised, morally decadent and devoid of good character. When Allāh ta'ālā sent the Leader of all the Ambiyā 'alayhimus salām and the Seal of the Messengers 'alayhimus salām, Muhammad Rasūlullāh sallallāhu 'alayhi wasallam, the entire world was illuminated. By following his example and teachings people of all backgrounds and creeds, Muslim and non-Muslim alike, have achieved great successes throughout the ensuing fourteen centuries.
